Raised Garden Beds Landscaping Ideas

Location

Small Garden
Focus
Raised beds, angles, black boundaries and compact seating
Materials
Raj Green Indian Sandstone, timber beams and Venetian panels

A compact garden redesigned with raised beds, angles and darker boundaries to make a small space feel more considered and generous.

More width, interest and usability.

Space was at a premium, so the design used angles to create the illusion of width and added raised beds at different heights to bring extra interest.

Hand drawn before it is built.

Every project begins by hand, with drawings that explore how the garden should move, settle and feel before anything is built. The plan considers the house, the light, the views from inside and the quiet details that make a space feel personal rather than standard.

These early sketches shape the planting, materials, levels and moments of pause. They give the team a clear design language to build from, so the finished garden feels considered from the first line on paper to the final planting.

Small garden, stronger structure.

Venetian wood panels and black-painted boundaries visually recede, creating a quiet backdrop for planting. An ancient olive tree adds height and a focal point.

Raised beds that work hard.

The raised beds break up the view, make gardening easier and help create a complete sitting area in a smaller garden.
