Front Garden, Teddington
Teddington
An unsightly Teddington front garden redesigned to improve the value and appearance of the property.
The Brief
Enhance the property from the street.
The existing wooden fence and bin store were tired and leaning. The brief was to improve kerb appeal and create a front garden that felt more valuable and intentional.
Design Thinking
Hand drawn before it is built.
Every project begins by hand, with drawings that explore how the garden should move, settle and feel before anything is built. The plan considers the house, the light, the views from inside and the quiet details that make a space feel personal rather than standard.
These early sketches shape the planting, materials, levels and moments of pause. They give the team a clear design language to build from, so the finished garden feels considered from the first line on paper to the final planting.
The Project
A cleaner, more durable frontage.
A brick wall with horizontal wooden slats gives the entrance a stronger boundary, replacing the old broken fence and bringing order to the front of the home.
Design Response
Simple planting that will mature gracefully.
A stone pathway and minimal edge planting complete the space, giving it a neater and more considered first impression.
